In conjuction with the Dedication of the Oyster Creek Drive hike and bike trail, the Lake Jackson Hike and Bike committee will partner with Lake Jackson EMS to conduct a children's Bike Rodeo on November 10, 9-10:45 am in the parking lot by the Civic Center.
Helmets and a parental release are needed. Free helmets will be available (limited number).

Dedication of Oyster Creek Drive Hike & Bike Trail
Plans are underway to dedicate the new Oyster Creek Drive Hike & Bike Trail. The date of the dedication is November 10th, starting at 11:00 AM. This dedication will be a part of the annual city clean-up in preparation of the Festival of Lights.

Welcome to the place where we hope you will come to find out what is happening related to hike and bike trails in the City of Lake Jackson, Texas. This blog is maintained by a committee of citizens that are involved with the advocacy of furthering the vision of the City of being a pedestrian friendly community.
In the near future we hope to begin populating this blog with information concerning the Hike & Bike Master Plan, current projects, ways that you can become involved, and a lot of information about hiking and biking in Lake Jackson.
We hope that the list of people contributing to this blog will grow over time. Contact us if you would like to contribute to the material presented in this blog.
